The Edwards Cattle ranch is located on 2900 acres in the foothills of San Benito County in an area known as Paicines, California. We raise horses bred for speed, performance and brains. Our genetics go back to the legendary Easy Jet. Our foundation sire is an own son of Easy Jet and we have many grandaughters and greatgrandaughters of Easy Jet in our broodmare band. We have taken this bloodline and crossed it with working cowhorse and foundation bloodlines such as Doc Olena, Doc Bar, Peppy San, Bueno Chex, Master Remedy, King, Mr. Gunsmoke, Colonel Freckles and Poco Bueno to name a few. This has given us a horse with superior speed, a great mind, and good feet and legs. These horses will track a cow, rope a steer or turn a barrel.
Spring Spring at the ranch brings beautiful wildflowers and breathtaking scenery and over 30 amazing foals to choose from! Our mares are exceptional producers of fantastic horses and we are fortunate to have a large number of cremello, palomino, red dun, and buckskin foals. Foals are available on a first come, first serve basis. The mares and foals are raised in the open foothills learning to travel in all types of terrain.
